Michael Nathaniel Kurniawan, S.Sn., M.A. is a Assistant Professor in Universitas Ciputra. He joined Universitas Ciputra since 2008 and currently part of Visual Communication Design.
<p>Michael Nathaniel Kurniawan, S.Sn., M.A. is an Assistant Professor at Universitas Ciputra School of Creative Industries. He has joined Universitas Ciputra since 2008 and is currently part of the Visual Communication Design Undergraduate program. He has been teaching Design &amp; Entrepreneurship, Art, Design, Cultural History and Cross-Cultural Design in the context of Creative and Cultural Industries in various multi-discipline design undergraduate and graduate programs for the past decade. He is an alumnus of the Kauffman Global Faculty class of 2011 and an awardee of Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) in 2016. He is awarded an M.A in Art and Design Education from University College London, Institute of Education in 2017 in which his dissertation examines the role of the museum for the design Higher Education in an effort to make anew heritage in the context of the cultural and creative economy. In 2018 he co-founded the Universitas Ciputra Centre for Creative Heritage Studies (UC.CCHS) and its university museum in partnership with Museum Gubug Wayang Mojokerto. He is currently the Director of the Centre and Museum for Creative Heritage Studies. His objective as a faculty member and a researcher is to help future young designers to co-create sustainable heritage for the future.&nbsp;</p>

Michael Nathaniel Kurniawan, S.Sn., M.A. is an Assistant Professor at Universitas Ciputra School of Creative Industries.
